Create this amazing Valentine’s Day Candy Bark using crackers, chocolate, and candy.
I make candy toffee bark for all holidays and special occasions. It’s well known and loved amongst our family and friends. My son’s friends ask me if have any each time they see me. I decided to show them some love with a batch of this Valentine’s Day Candy Bark. Since it’s made with crackers and is super addicting, we call it Crack! One bite and you will be wanting more.
This sweet treat is fun and easy to make. My kids often help make it. They like to help pick out the candies that go on top and place them there after the chocolate has melted.
Valentine’s Day Candy Bark
This bark base is made with saltine crackers, brown sugar, butter, and semi-sweet chocolate chips. Top the base with whatever you want. For this Valentine’s Candy Bark I used Holiday M&Ms, Conversation Hearts, mini marshmallows, and sprinkles. Top yours with your favorite Valentine’s Day candies.
This bark is created by boiling brown sugar and butter to form a toffee. This hot mixture is poured on top of saltine crackers and baked to finish the toffee process. When it comes out of the oven, chocolate chips are sprinkled on top. When the chips have softened from the heat of the toffee, they are spread to form the chocolate layer. Then the candies are sprinkled on top. The entire sheet is placed in the refrigerator until hard. Crack it into pieces and enjoy!
Here is the entire batch that I sent with my son to hand out to his pep band buddies the other night. The recipe makes a lot, but the container came home empty!
