Come see how easy it is to create this heart-themed Valentine’s Day Bento Lunch.
Today I created this cute heart-shaped Valentine’s Day bento lunch for my daughter. She is super excited about it. Who wouldn’t be excited? While this is targeted toward kids, I think anyone would enjoy this lunch like this made with love.
Valentine’s Day Bento Lunch
The lunch contains a mini cheese wheel with a heart cut out, heart-shaped raspberries, heart-shaped carrots, and a heart marshmallow.
The heart in the cheese wheel and the carrots were achieved using some mini food cutters. The heart cut on the cheese just went through the wax covering. Not the cheese itself.
The raspberries were made into heart shapes by pushing down on the top middle of the berry with a toothpick. Specifically, I laid the toothpick across the top and pressed gently.
We had some whole wheat flatbread pizza leftovers on hand that I used in this lunch. I cut them into heart shapes of various sizes. Heart shaped cookie cutters were used to cut the pizza.
I also added some squeezable fruit to the lunch. Kids just love these pouches that they put in their mouth and squeeze.
The lunch is packed in our favorite lunchbox, Easy Lunchboxes. Easy Lunchboxes are just that. Easy to pack your lunch in and take wherever you go. I like how they keep the foods separated. Who wants their pizza to touch their fruit?
Heart Themed Lunch
Did you realize it was that easy to make such a cute lunch? I put it together in a few minutes using the tools at the bottom of this post.
My daughter got a lot of compliments from her classmates and teachers. Who would you make a Valentine’s Day Bento Lunch with heart-shaped food for?
