Pokemon GO Party + Free Printables

Have a Pokémon fan in your house? Throw them a Pokémon GO party!

My sons grew up on Pokémon. They passed on their love of Pocket Monsters to their little sister. Now the entire family loves to play Pokémon GO.

I have offered Pokémon GO lunch notes and bookmarks and now I have Pokémon GO party printables.

How to Throw a Pokémon GO Party

I started my party planning by creating a menu. I decided to go with a Poké Ball-themed food with red, yellow, and blue touches to represent the three Pokémon GO teams.

My menu included pizza, cheese, donuts, fruit, cupcakes, candy, and water.

Pokémon Pizza

Poké Pizza is fun and easy to make! You need a frozen cheese pizza, a small can of chopped black olives, and slices of pepperoni.

I laid the pepperoni on the top half of the pizza. Then, I arranged the chopped olive across the middle of the pizza to create the stripe on a Poké ball.

I baked the pizza according to the directions. The pizza turned out really cute!

Pokémon Donuts

My kids were most excited about the Poké Donuts. These were made with glazed donuts, red sugar sprinkles, marshmallows, and black icing.

I took the donut and held a piece of paper above half of it while I sprinkled the red sugar over the other half.

Then, I added the horizontal black lines with the icing. I placed half a marshmallow in the donut hole and added black icing around it.

They weren’t perfect, but the kids loved them! Aren’t these a bunch of fun?

Pokémon GO Party Food

The fruit was displayed in a dip tray. I added black tape across the middle and around the dip compartment.

Strawberries and bananas flanked the fruit dip.

Poké Cheese was made out of mini cheese wheels.

Team wrappers and Poké Ball picks decorated the cupcakes.

Tall water bottles had Poké Ball labels. The shorter water bottles were decorated with team labels and had team straws attached to the back of them.

Red, yellow, and blue candies were served in two different-sized glasses.

Pokémon GO Party Decorations

I created all the decorations. The Poké Ball background was made by wrapping a black foam core board with red and white plastic table covers.

I glued it on a paper plate whose edge was colored black to the middle. The red, yellow, and blue team colors were represented with balloons on each side of the background.

I hung a banner with Poké Balls and team pennants across the front of the table.

The food was served on fun Poké Ball paper plates. I created these with some black tape and red and white paper plates.

Cut a red plate in half, lay it on top of a white plate, and then place a strip of black tape across the middle.

I really love how these turned out.
