Happy Birthday to ME!

Today is my birthday! Normally I don’t really flaunt it, but I am feeling so healthy and fit that I thought I’d share some recent photos of me.

Here is the cake from my not-so-surprise party that my friends held for me on Saturday. That followed a day of pampering and fun with girlfriends. It is my Birthday Diana RamblesThe pampering included a massage, mani-pedi, and a haircut. It got 6+ inches chopped off. I really love it! Here is what it looked like right after the cut.Diana Hansen Rambles Haircut SelfieThe cut is so fun and cute. I am pleased that it’s still long enough to pull up when I get hot. It looks quite different if I don’t style it, but it’s still flattering.

I have been committed to getting 60+ minutes of exercise each day and it’s really paid off. I’ve shifted my focus to a minimum of 10,000 steps a day, which usually takes more than 60 minutes. While there have been days here and there that I got less than 10K steps, I always end up with more than 70K steps in a week. Since the weather has gotten warmer, I’ve increased that goal to 77K steps per week. Here is how I looked at my party. I reached my goal of looking and feeling FANTASTIC by my birthday.Diana Hansen Rambles 2Now I am to addicted to walking, that I just about climb the wall if I don’t get my steps in. That means 2-3 walks per day, but I love being outdoors so my exercise is really a treat. At least one of those walks with my husband each day. It gives us a chance to be together without the kids and share out days. Diana Hansen Rambles Husband SelfieToday I met him for lunch at a local park and he took a bunch of fun photos of me. I tried to get some shots without sunglasses, but it was too sunny. DSC_0422DSC_0446DSC_0466DSC_0494DSC_0496DSC_0525DSC_0527DSC_0552DSC_0553Yes, I am throwing caution to the wind and posting LOTS of photos of myself. Quite unusual, but I am proud of how healthy and fit I’ve become!! Diana Hansen Rambles 1

I love these pics- you look cute and they really show your personality. (Goofball!) also, you SHOULD be proud, because anyone who considers exercise a "treat" is basically a bada**. (Or else crazy?!) happy birthday my sweet friend!!

Haha! I am a goofball!! Walking is a huge stress reliever, and you know I've had more than my share of stress over the past 4+ months!
