Cream Cheese Breakfast Pastry

Here is a super easy & yummy recipe for a cream cheese pastry.

Easy Cream Cheese Breakfast Pastry

2 large refrigerated crescent rolls
2 blocks of cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 TBP vanilla
1/2 cup butter
Sugar

Grease a 9×13 casserole dish. Roll out 1 package of crescent rolls to cover the bottom of the dish. Soften cream cheese and mix in a cup of sugar and TBP of vanilla and spread it on top of the crescent dough. Roll out the other container on top of the cream cheese. Melt the butter and spread on top of the dough and then sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Super easy & yummy! Recipe can be varied with the addition of other flavorings, jams, or jellies.

  4. YUM! I make a similar recipe using puff pastry. It's delicious. A light brush of butter and a sprinkle of Hawaiian sugar on top and it's sooooo pretty!

  6. Hi! How did you know I was just drooling over a package of cream cheese danish in the bargain-bakery-item rack at the grocery store? Anyway, by "large" crescent rolls, do you mean the ones that say on the package that they are 50% bigger than the usual crescent rolls?
