Fresh Cranberry Salsa
Create this fresh cranberry salsa for your next holiday gatherings.

It is cranberry season, so it’s time to post one of my favorite recipes. If you are a cranberry fan, then it is a MUST try.
If you are not a big fan but like fruit and salsa, then I think you should still try it.
I had planned on sharing some of this batch with a friend, but I could not stop eating it so I will have to make another.

Serve this at your next holiday party and get rave reviews!! It is so good that this recipe was featured at Redbook Magazine.
Cranberry Salsa
Cranberry season is one of my favorite times of the year. It is such a short season, but I take advantage of it fully. In addition to this salsa, you should check out my popular Fresh Cranberry Relish.
Other recipes that I have made with fresh cranberries include Cranberry Pepper Jam and Instant Oatmeal Cranberry Apple Crisp. Yes, you can say that I am obsessed with cranberries.
It is quite easy to make if you have a food processor or hand chopper. I like to make it up a little ahead of time so that the flavors have a little time to mingle.

It is good right away, but even better the next day. I am not a fan of hot things, but the sweet provides quite a contrast to the pepper, so I recommend 2 jalapenos. I am sitting here eating this as I type up the post!
How easy is that? Doesn’t it look fantastic? If you love this, you will also enjoy Cranberry Apple Crisp, Cranberry Apple Muffins, or Cranberry Party Dip.

I would eat this year-round if cranberries were always in season. I made it with some fresh cranberries that I froze, but it just did not turn out right. My recommendation is not to use frozen cranberries in a recipe unless you will be cooking them.

THis is delicious but I haven't made it with cumin before. That's an interesting idea. Before I saw your link up, I linked up my post about it too! Except I talk about how this year, I left out the sugar and just about dropped dead when I tasted it! I might never be able to eat it again with that memory in my tastebuds!!
Sounds delish, Diana!
Oh, nothing wrong with this! This is going right on my board of recipes to make.
Diana, that sounds DELICIOUS!!!!!! Do you cook the cranberries first… or do you just use them straight out of the bag?

Spicy! I've never been a fan of cranberry sauce (my mom swears we had it every year, but I don't remember it being there until after I was married!) But I bet Hubby would L-O-V-E your spicy version! My sister and BIL too!
