Check out this easy back-to-school Chicken Patty Parmesan recipe that kids love that can be prepared in under 30 minutes!
It’s back to school time, which means it’s time to get back to a mealtime routine. We have a tradition in our family where we allow each child to pick out a special back-to-school dinner. My son requested chicken ‘sketti. That is what he calls an old favorite recipe of ours that is actually Chicken Patty Parmesan served on top of spaghetti. I don’t want to take it from scratch, taking the time to bread the chicken so I use frozen chicken patties.

See how easy that is to prepare? It’s pretty tasty too! My family loves it.
In addition to preparing back to school dinners, I have lunches to pack. My daughter brings lunch from home every day. She enjoys turkey and cheese sandwiches. While I was at Meijer picking up the Tyson® Chicken Patties, I also got some Hillshire Farm® Naturals- Slow Roasted Turkey. This all natural lunch meat is a favorite of ours.
This high protein lunch consisted of a whole wheat sandwich with the Hillshire Farm® Naturals- Slow Roasted Turkey, co-jack cheese, dill pickle, and lettuce. Carrot and celery sticks went along with a ranch dip in the purple container. There was also fresh raspberries and mango. The lunch was topped off with a cheese stick.
You can pick up both Tyson® Chicken Patties and Hillshire Farm® Naturals- Slow Roasted Turkey at Meijer. Both are packed with protein, contain no artificial ingredients, and are part of a solid back to school meal routine.
Tyson® Chicken Patties is found in the chicken section of the frozen food aisle. Hillshire Farm® Naturals- Slow Roasted Turkey is found in the refrigerated premium sliced lunch meat section. Meijer customers can click here to save up to $2 on Back-to-School Essentials.
