I love ice. I mean really love ice! I put ice cubes in all my drinks, no matter if it’s warm or cold outside. My obsession with ice runs so deep that I have a table top ice maker that I take with us camping. I must have ice in my coffee every morning.

I like to drink my ice coffee in a glass, but sometimes the glass is too cold or it sweats so I use a coffee cozy. There are all kinds of cute patterns out there for adorable coffee cozies, I don’t know how to crochet or knit. I’ve come up with an even quicker way to make a cute cozy. I use socks! Not just any old sock, but wool blend socks with cute designs.

Each fall I buy new socks to replace old ones that get holes. I hate the idea of just throwing out the old socks, so I repurpose them. These sock cozies are so easy, that you don’t need any crafting skills.

I use these cozies year around. They are great for insulating water bottles and collecting the moisture on the outside of an icy cup.

Like the fun looking socks and having the stretch makes it great for any size mug. Great idea!

I'm allergic to wool so I try not to have it around. Boring athletic cotton socks would work for me. :))

I have made them out of nylon socks too. Usually cuter prints. :)
