Man Tool Bouquet for Valentine’s Day

Create this candy and tool bouquet for your guy for Valentine’s Day.

My husband is a quality man. He works hard to provide for our family. He’s also quite handy around the house. I wanted to show him my appreciation and love with this candy and tool bouquet. You too can create your own bouquet filled with items that your sweetheart loves.

Valentine’s Day Tool Bouquet

This Valentines man bouquet was a lot easier than I thought it would be to make. The hardest part was picking out the right tools to include. Once I had the tools and candy, the bouquet went together fairly quickly.

Supplies

Here are all the supplies you need for this Valentine’s gift for him. You can also make him a Valet Tray.

Tool Bouquet Directions

Get the detailed direction at the bottom of this post.

If you would like to write a message on the front of the bucket, add some chalkboard paint or decal. I used a decal which I cut into an oval shape.
Give your sweetheart the bouquet along with a heartfelt card for a special expression of love and appreciation.

I am so pleased with how this bouquet turned out. My husband is going to love it! It’s also going to come in useful for spring projects around the house. I bet he picks out a chocolate rose to eat it right away. I also made him some Strawberry Caramel Pretzel Bark and Homemade Thin Mints.

Valentine’s Day is almost upon us, so it is time to get your shopping done. When I went to the store to pick up all the supplies for my tool bucket, I picked out a lovely card with folded foil hearts that match the tool and candy bouquet.

What are you making for your loved one this year? Kids will enjoy giving out Pokemon Valentine’s Cards. You can even throw them a Valentine’s Day Party with a Pokemon theme.

Tool Bouquet

Tool Bouquet

Create a tool & candy bouquet for the handyman in your life.

Materials

  • galvanized steel bucket
  • tools
  • candy
  • hearts
  • wooden dowels
  • green paint
  • sand or dirt
  • floral tape
  • red tissue paper
  • box or nails or screws
  • optional: chalkboard decal/paint & chalk

Tools

  • sponge brush
  • hand saw
  • hot glue gun
  • glue sticks

Instructions

    1. Use the sponge brush to paint the wooden dowels green. Allow the paint to dry.
    2. Cut the dowels into smaller pieces with varying lengths using a hand saw.
    3. a dowel to the back of each tool. If you are having trouble with the glue sticking to smooth steel, reinforce with floral tape.
    4. Glue a dowel to the back of the candy and hearts. I used a thinner dowel for these items.
    5. Fill the bucket with sand or dirt. I used some potting soil that I had on hand.
    6. Place red tissue paper into the bucket on top of the sand or dirt filler.
    7. Arrange the tools, candy, and hearts into a bouquet by poking them through the tissue. Vary the height placement of the items.
    8. Once the bouquet is arranged the way you want it, place nails or screws into the top of the bucket between the dowels. This makes it look nice and helps hold everything in place.

Notes

I added a chalkboard sticker on the front to write a message of love.
