Making campfire breakfast is fun and easy. Come see how quick you can eat in the morning with minimal effort. We love to camp. During camping season, we hit the campground every chance we get. I love testing out and creating new recipes over the campfire or in the dutch oven. A friend suggested that my husband and I start a camping blog. That is a great idea, but with living in the Midwest we wouldn’t have much to post from November through March. We just aren’t that rugged. In fact, we consider ourselves glampers. We want to be out in nature enjoying the great outdoors, but we also want to be comfortable. We camp in a pop-up camper trailer.
Our first trip out of the season was a quick overnight with minimal equipment. We borrowed our neighbor’s campfire to prepare our breakfast. We just had our grilling fork and a pie iron. Not sure it gets any easier than that. You may also prepare this breakfast on the grilling grate, but if the rungs are spaced too far apart use the fork.
Campfire Breakfast Sandwiches
These sandwiches were really tasty! Sausage isn’t my favorite breakfast meat, but I gobbled it right up and there was no cheese on it.What would you make for breakfast over the campfire?
